Backorder Management Coordinator

Job Description

Acts as a liaison between procurement, logistics and inventory management to resolve backorder issues in a timely manner. Communicates with vendors and manufacturers about item changes, backorders and other materials related issues. Routinely communicates with clinical staff and managers regarding backorders to assess inventory levels and product status. 

 

Job Requirements


Participates in a variety of special projects to assist management in the financial administration of the medical center. Provides daily and sometimes more frequently, reports regarding item utilization, stocking, turns, PARs and days on hand. Assists in investigating on hands discrepancies. Follows established hospital infection and prevention and safety procedures. Conforms to hospital standards of performance and conduct.
