Grounds Worker

Job Description

The person in this position must be physically able to carry out basic grounds duties that include but are not limited to: mowing, trimming, and weed eating areas on
campus. Depending on seasonal conditions, will rake leaves, salt sidewalks,
and shovel snow. Most duties require bending, stooping, squatting, pushing,
pulling, and lifting an average weight of 25-50 pounds. Frequent daily contact
with building occupants requires an ability to project a neat and clean
appearance and have the ability to establish good working relationships with
faculty, staff, and students.
