Qualification & Skills Requirement

- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Job Functions, Duties & Responsibilities
- Be familiar with hotel product knowledge and related activities.
- Ensures appropriate efforts are expanded on the solicitation and development of local and international corporate and accounts defined in the assigned portfolios.
- Keeps a good record of top 20 top accounts from the above sectors and establish business development plans for such top room nights generating companies.
- To actively solicit new potential accounts within areas assigned.
- Engage with booker, influencer and decision makers to maintain a good client relationship and to solicit for future businesses.
- To participate actively in sales blitz as directed by Director of Sales & Marketing.
- To be fully aware of the potential and buying decisions of all key accounts, competitive information on rates and volume to allow for specific strategic planning related to such accounts.
- Under the direction of Director of Sales & Marketing analyze market changes and implement programme to meet the changes.
- To ensure One World Hotel is the preferred hotel for corporate FIT and convention in Petaling jaya and to convert businesses from Kuala Lumpur.
- Ensures that all site visits conducted and handled in the most professional manner and effectively.
- Full capable of making decisions on rate and room block commitment through effective analysis of programme history and hotel marketing strategy/budget.
- Ensure that one-stop shopping concept is applied at all times for any lead generated for convention business.
- To assists in directing all sales activities in sales personnel to ensure that they meet the goals of the business plan.
- Adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
