This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of supporting and managing safeguarding or welfare cases of students within the Education sector to join our passionate Disability & Welfare team. Within this role you will assist students with an ADHD diagnosis and/or support need, working to ensure a positive student-centred outcome and overall success on their programme.
Leading on UCEM’s support provision for students with ADHD and monitor the effectiveness of interventions
Drawing up personal UCEM Additional Support Plans (ASPs) for current students and ensure adjustments are implemented
Advising prospective students on the support available for those with physical and sensory impairments, specific learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders and enduring mental or physical health difficulties
Developing and maintaining relationships with external support agencies which may benefit UCEM students
