We are looking to recruit a full-time experienced Head Chef at our Italian restaurant based in South Wales Bridgend . The role would include planning and preparing and oversee the preparation of the Italian food at the restaurant.
Coordinate and supervise the kitchen and kitchen staff in all areas together with the restaurant manager
Oversee stock control, requisitions or purchases and examinations of ingredients from suppliers to ensure quality;
plans menus and oversees their preparation and monitors the quality of finished dishes;
ensures relevant hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained within all departments of the kitchen;
plans and co-ordinates kitchen work such as daily & weekly prep, cleaning and cleaning of equipment and utensils.
