In this role you will need to provide legal services to both South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils and to lead and supervise a team within the specialist legal services area
• Draft, advise upon, and approve contracts arising from all the councils’ functions, including construction, service, consultancy and IT contracts
• Advise on procurement legislation, procedures and documents, regulations, and the councils’ procurement procedure rules
• Work closely with the council’s procurement team to ensure appropriate use of standard contract documentation and compliance with the Procurement Procedure Rules
