Natural Resources Canada requires an experienced marine technologist to prepare for and participate in, field expeditions. The Marine Geoscience Technologist will prepare, install, repair and operate systems/equipment used in the collection of geophysical, geological and geotechnical data and samples; observe, record, compile and validate technical data; and work independently.
The majority of the field work is marine related and involves repairing and maintaining equipment, and preparing equipment, spares and consumables for field surveys from days to weeks in duration.
