Lead data analytics projects that support Branch priorities, ensuring appropriate and relevant synthesis and analysis of data to enable the timely detection, prediction and response to compliance issues, the identification of trends and contribution to risk-based and data driven approaches for the Branch’s compliance activity.
Initiate and lead activities to enable application of data analytics to support the supervision and enforcement functions, including data gathering, validating, cleansing, data mining and reporting.
Develop or lead the development of data analytical products, reports, and other required documents, and ensures accuracy, completeness, clarity, and usefulness of such products to inform decision making.
Collaborate with IM/IT and the Data Steward Network. Contribute to developing and maintaining data quality by identifying and discussing relevant issues with supervisors and clients.
Proactively research available internal and external data sources and assesses, validates, and integrates them in the analytical processes.
Present relevant research findings to the Manager, Branch management, and colleagues across the Agency as needed.
Contribute to the development of the Division’s plans and priorities, as they relate to data science and data analytics and aims to strengthen the analytical capacity of the team to enable and enhance the supervision and enforcement business processes.
