The technical service specialist coordinates fulfillment of interlibrary loan, document delivery, and storage retrieval requests for library materials. Manages collection projects and serials maintenance duties. Hires, trains, supervises student employees to support the above activities.
Provides primary back-up support for the public service specialist including indirect supervision of 10-12 student employees and administrative support for the Library Director. Assists with handling of reference questions and requests received via email, as well as answering questions at the service desk of patrons onsite. Assists with facility and equipment related issues.
