Job Description
cThe UK Equine Communication and Student Relations internship offers an array of opportunities to be involved in different areas within UK Ag Equine Programs and broaden skillsets in communications, leadership and office and event management.
Job Requirements
• Help generate, compile, edit, manage and layout content for reoccurring newsletters, including but not limited to, the Wildcat Canter, Graduate Gallop, Tuesday Tidbits and Equine Science Review, in coordination with Communications Director. Special emphasis on information gathering from clubs and teams and other equine student activities
• Write and help distribute press releases
• Write profile pieces about program and people
• Generate and post to social media accounts
• Write stories, cover equine events and take photographs and video
• Help manage social media presence for UK Ag Equine Programs
• Help generate content for other projects, including, but not limited to, advertising, other marketing communications (flyers, brochures, etc.) and feature stories
