The Branch Manager of the Kentucky Immunization Branch serves as the focal point for management of the statewide immunization program. Overall purview and charge includes policy development, standards setting, monitoring, quality control, staff development, and technical assistance.
This position directs, plans, implements and supervises a statewide immunization program for the control of vaccine-preventable diseases by maintaining an intensive program of surveillance and epidemiology, quality improvement, Vaccine for Children (VFC) program, adult vaccine program, emergency response vaccine countermeasures, statewide immunization information system, and education/information activities.
