The Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Counselor Education (EDSCE) in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a lecturer position, in the lecturer title series, in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. This faculty member will provide expertise in assessment, instruction, and teaming for families and young children receiving early intervention, early childhood special education, early childhood education, and related services.
Preferred qualifications include an earned doctoral degree in early childhood education, early childhood special education, special education, or a related field prior to start date; experience as an educator serving young children with or at-risk for disabilities; a commitment to teacher preparation; effective collaboration with community partners in education; evidence of or intent to incorporate diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion principles across teaching and supervision.
